Jesus and the 12 Steps: Higher Power
You've probably heard the idea that insanity is trying the same thing over and again and expecting different results. Alcoholics Anonymous has a different idea it suggests: that insanity is trying *different* things over and again and expecting different results. At some point, after trying different strategies *we* devise, will we every realize we need a Higher Power to restore our sanity? In the Bible, many people came to just that realization when they encountered Jesus.
