HeavenEarth Kids
Our goal is to meet your kids where they are and provide them with a safe and fun place to grow in faith.
Kids will always be with a Lead Volunteer who goes through a background check and has received basic training in our Safe Church Policy
We use Sparkhouse curriculum that our kids and volunteers love.
Want to meet people, but not ready to dive in spiritually?
The following groups and events are a great place to start! While some may occasionally have a light spiritual component, you don’t have to have any spiritual background to participate.
Get to Know You Dinners
Join us every other month for free pizza and a chance to get to know you better. No agenda. No expectations. Just a laid-back place for us to learn about your experiences and hopes.
Restoration Way
Every Wednesday at 7:00pm, we have a free meal and a gathering that weaves together faith, mental health and recovery conversations. While one of our monthly meetings focuses on spiritual practices and is Jesus-centered, everyone is welcome no matter your beliefs.
Sunday Gatherings
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM, you can experience warm, authentic community in which we encounter God together through music, spiritual practices and conversation centered on the library of Scriptures. Kids join us at the beginning and then go to Kids Church. You can get a feel for what it’s like here.
Discovery 1 & 2
These short-term learning communities are designed to help you discover more about yourself and more about what a discipleship relationship with Jesus at HEC looks like for you alongside others.
Seasonal Neighborhood Events
A few times each year, we gather with community to have fun, eat great food, and serve our neighbors.

A great way to get to a taste of church community and mission is to check out our podcast. This features the weekly messages, conversations with HEC folks, and bonus episodes about faith and life.
Meet new friends while making a difference for our neighbors
Sometimes, the easiest way to meet new people and build new friendships is to serve together. Here are some opportunities for you!
Thanksgiving Baskets
We’re offering Thanksgiving baskets to community members who need them. If you need a basket, email ross@heavenearthchurch.org. You can help us assemble and deliver baskets November 22 right after our Sunday gathering.
Partner Focus
One of our core values is to bless the community through partnerships. Each quarter, we have an area of focus during which we highlight a specific partner or partners. We’ll host someone from the organization on a Sunday, and we’ll give the organization funds from our Local Impact fund.
Spaces for All
We created Spaces for All, a non-profit whose mission is to create affordable spaces for nonprofits and families. Contact Pastor Ross for details.

Sunday Conversations
Sundays at 9:30 AM in-person and online. Our goal is to create an honest community atmosphere where you can be authentic with your questions and emotions and where, together, we can pay attention to the person of Jesus even if some of us are not sure what to make of him yet.
Discovery Learning Communities
These are five-week learning communities where we help you learn more about you and also more about our mission, values and discipleship essentials. Discovery 2 begins on November 4.
Why Baptism?
This is a quarterly one-off meeting where you can explore questions about baptism and why it’s such an important next step for people who are seeking Jesus.
Learning Communities
Short-term groups where participants eat together and spend time with a specific essential of discipleship with Jesus. They can last anywhere from four weeks to as much as ten. Even though we have folks with diverse backgrounds and experiences in these groups, they truly work for anyone, because we encourage everyone to adopt the mindset of a beginner in these groups.
Youth Group
Led by our Executive Pastor, Emily Holverson, and her husband, Adam, this is a beautiful culture for students in 6th to 12th grade. They meet every other week on Sunday evenings at 6pm for fun and faith conversations.
Groups
Groups of 6-12 people who function as a sort of tiny church (which is another name we use for these). The purpose of these groups is to build a community of friends you can trust, care for, and root for, to get to know Jesus, and to practice his way together.
