Message at 33:30. There are psychological perspectives that basically say we are who are from a very young age–that our personalities are basically what they will be to a large extent as early as the age of 3 or 5. Other perspectives argue that most people’s personalities will change dramatically into old age. So, what makes us…us? We’re starting a new series called … To start, we’re going to explore how there are some things that are true about us–that make us who we are–from the time we are in our mother’s wombs, but there are many other things that we will grow into and become that are quite unknown from a young age.

From Series: "Everyone Has a Place"

In this series, we want to help people come to a deeper understanding about what makes you you and about how everyone has a place in Jesus’s mission. We want to equip people with spiritual (as well as scientific and psychological) perspectives about personality. We want to help people appreciate how God equips each person with strengths and purpose in God’s dream for humankind and the world. We want to explore and share tools and practical knowledge with folks to help everyone live into the joyful reality that everyone has a place in the mission of Christ. In the end, we want to help each person come alive in their Spirit-ignited true self in a way that blesses them, God and others.
