The Search for Meaning, vol. 3: God Is Not Vapor

Message at 24:45. Sometimes after all our searching, we may not find the answers or peace we’re looking for, but maybe we end up finding something just as good or better. After a long search for meaning and being desperately frustrated–expressing that everything in this life is basically vapor–the writer of the book of Ecclesiastes found that there is one thing that isn’t vapor: God. When it’s all said and done, we’ll find the most reliable purpose and hope in pursuing a continuous relationship with God. Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:11; Ecclesiastes 12

From Series: "The Search for Meaning"

There's a unique book in the Bible where "the Teacher" (as he's known) says that everything is pointless. He's searched high and low for meaning--for something he can count on in this life--and he can't find anything. It's a book we can learn a lot from, especially in our current landscape.
