The Search for Meaning, vol. 2: Is There Any True Justice Anywhere?

Message at 20:45. In our search for meaning, one wall we hit over and again is how it often seems like things are upside down as it relates to right and wrong. As the speaker in Ecclesiastes says, “in the place of justice, there was wickedness; and in the place of what was right, there was wickedness again!” How do we live with faith, purpose, and meaning in a world where this seems to be true? Is there any justice we can count on? In what sense, can we reliable on God’s righteousness and justice?

From Series: "The Search for Meaning"

There's a unique book in the Bible where "the Teacher" (as he's known) says that everything is pointless. He's searched high and low for meaning--for something he can count on in this life--and he can't find anything. It's a book we can learn a lot from, especially in our current landscape.
