Following Jesus in the Wasteland, pt 2
The "devil" is known as a great spinner of lies. We may then assume that the greatest temptations we face are with lies. If we listen deeply to what we struggle with--in thought, word and action--we may find that we are tempted more with truths than we are with lies. There are things in our lives that are somewhat true, but they are not the ultimate Truth about who we are. Following Jesus in the wasteland involves learning from Jesus what is the Truth about us and the world.
