Jesus and the 12 Steps, vol. 4: Honest with God, Ourselves and Another
Unfortunately it's so easy for us as humans to do the wrong thing...and keep doing it. To keep evil going, all we have to do is tell ourselves the next small lie...which allows us to tell the next one...and the next one and so on. The good news is that at every turn, in every sequence of that series of lies, God is with us and knocks on the door to break the cycle. All we must do is take that key of willingness and nudge open the door. When we do, we can seek the new truth rather than tell the next lie that keeps us ensnared in evil. Let's seek the new truth together.
