Where's Jesus? vol. 7: the Beginning, End and Middle

Message at 27:00. One BIG reason Jesus is hard to find when people look at Christianity is that much of Christianity has a distorted picture of “the End”, and it greatly influences how people think about life here and now. Simply, if our picture of what “the end” or judgment doesn’t match Jesus’s, then our actions in the present will not match Jesus so much. This week, we’re talking about how it all started with God’s saying, “Let there be light,” and that is how it ends, too.

From Series: "Where's Jesus? Finding and Following Jesus When Much of Christianity Doesn't Look Like Him"

Data and stories reveal that a growing number of people, especially in younger generations, don't want much to do with Christianity. Folks feel like they can see Christians in every direction, but they can't necessarily see Jesus in the Christians they find. We're going to have an honest, hopeful series of conversations about rediscovering the Jesus whom so many folks in the first century were thrilled to see and seek with everything.
