Emily Holverson

In January of 2023, Emily and her family were looking for a community to do life with and found themselves at HeavenEarth. Guarded and hurt from past experiences with church, Emily was cautious. Overtime, she kept seeing good soil at HEC and found a place to heal and plant new roots. In December of 2023, she came on staff as the Executive Pastor.

Emily has been on a journey with Jesus for a long time. There have been a lot of ups and downs; success and heartaches. She has been and/or is a mom (to three amazing humans), wife (to her college best friend and most treasured partner), sister, daughter, friend, ordained pastor, church planter, teacher, student, coach, staff member, and volunteer. These are all elements of Emily’s story that shape her experience and color the lenses through which she sees, practices, and grows.

She loves hiking and spending time in nature. She savors a good cup of coffee and a conversation. She gets joy from listening to and creating music. She enjoys writing and processing her many thoughts on a page. She believes her journey with Jesus is a work in progress that has been her anchor and is the best place she can ground her work, herself, and her family.

Emily holds that beautiful potential exists in each of us. The more we understand ourselves and experience life with Jesus, the more we see healthy steps in our relationships, organizations, and communities, and the more committed we become to taking them.
